Before the reign of Temperance and Catherine there were tyrants who warred. After the tyrants were over-throne, Temperance of The Capital and Catherine of Eagle Point made peace and ruled for awhile. Catherine has vanished and a new alpha has taken over Eagle Point.
Temperance's son Lyle has become a leader of The Capital. He burned the sacred gardens of Eagle Point and caused a war between the two. Now it is chaotic. Lyle's brother, Temperance's adopted son who belonged to the leader before, has left The Capital and joined Eagle Point.
The Elite were a group of specially trained soldiers who rode the giant worms and directed them away from The Capital. Lyle has done away with these warriors.
