Lyle wasn't too fond of the fact everyone needed to assume Holo was his bride. However, he wasn't too against it either, he needed the distraction from the throne and to prove he was normalish. He sighed, walking through the library. He wasn't sure where Holo had gone off to, but he had planned to go with her today to the marketplace or somewhere. He ran his fingers down the various scrolls and books, opening one that looked like a child's book, perhaps just for fun.

Holo had needed to get out, all those dresses and dinners not to mention people staring at her it was beginning to drive her up the wall. Glad to be out of that stuffy palace the second she could she had taken off to go explore her once home, sneaking around book cases and climbing up the shelves to look and find some of her old hiding places. Like an excited pup she was around here and there trying to keep her tail from wagging. She even started to hunt a mouse which she had found on one of the shelves, which is how Lyle found her because she was more then happy to growl at it softly before jumping up to snatch it "gotcha!" a little slow but she got the poor things tail landing with it dangling by it's tail squeaking.

Lyle broke character for a moment and ran over to Holo, his back stiff and his hands out to the side. "What are you doing?" He asked in a loud whisper, looking to the mouse and back to her eyes. "Drop it. Drop it now, are you crazy?" He bent down and put a hand on her head. "You're not a dog Holo, you're half sane." He reminded her.

Holo looked ready to find a place to bury the poor thing before she heard Lyle call to her in a loud whisper. Turning to face him expecting a scolding the soft movement of her hat indicating her ears moved down. Her voice a soft whisper "I-I was only playing with it Lyle..." sighing softly gently holding the rat now as he put the hand on her head. She leaned into the touch looking up at him ".... im sorry...." letting the rat go so it could skitter off for its life while she stood there "I couldn't help it, I haven't gone hunting in so long or even for a good run"

Lyle shrugged, he really couldn't be too picky about the company he kept. Not too many people wanted to be around him ever since Temperance vanished. He guessed they had made all sorts of rumors, and while some might be true, the majority were quite harsh. He lifted his hand from her head. "I know. I told you this life would be harder." He reminded her, putting his hands in his pockets and walking off a bit. He stopped and looked behind him, "Why don't we go somewhere private, than you can hunt?"

Holo reading his depression blinked moving up to follow him watching him ".... I know... but I dont mind so much most days" she said before just moving closer so that she was snuggled up against him this closeness was what got her the reputation she had now of being his mistress but she didnt mind so much. Worse words had been slung at her, her tail wagging softly under her dress as she grinned to his suggestion "Really?! a hunt? just the two of us? we can go play tag in the forests, go catching fish in the river!" noticeably excited at the prospect.

Lyle rubbed his temple, but he never removed his arm from her grasp. "Yeah, Holo, we can go." He promised, a weak smile on his lips. "I'll need to talk to a medicine man or someone. Although I fear this is not a natural headache... Their talking to me again." He looked to her, needing an answer. He looked away again and slipped his hand away from her, only to wrap it around her lower back. "How about we fish, the water sounds better."

At the mention of his headaches Holo sighed softly glad to be in his embrace against him as she smiled at him "im sure a day out will help you... it will be fun I promise, we havent played together... since..." stopping at that as she looked down.

Lyle didn't say much after she stopped her sentence. He walked with her out of the building and toward the Four River, where he assumed they would be fishing. "Just don't speak of my mother and we'll be okay..." He assured her, sighing a bit as a memory came back to him.

"..... your brother misses you... I know he does" she said softly looking up at him as they made their way to the Four River before sighing again thinking for a moment before she put on a smile for him "Common fishing will be fun when was the last time you got your kingly feet dirty?" teasing him softly.

Lyle stopped for a moment, his head turned toward Eagle Point. "I feel the same." He confessed, frowning. He didn't really explain rather he meant he missed himself as well, or if he missed his brother. He put on a smile as well, not being able to help it when Holo smiled. He followed after her, treading out into the water after taking off his sandals. "Hey, I may be a king, but I'm not scared of dirt." He reminded her, splashing some water her way.

Holo did not care for anything abandoning her shoes and petticoat and most other decent things on the shore one of the reasons other noble women viewed her as a concubine, she was not afraid to show skin but it was more for Holo how she could move then showing off anything. Gasping and giggling as she was splashed "Lyle! youll scare away the fish!" laughing as she moved to splash him back.

Lyle was used to this behavior by now, understanding she was not a normal human by any means. He didn't normally like to as of late, but he took off his shirt. He tossed the fabric over to the shore and shook his shabby hair free of the water from her splash. He waded over to her and smiled, "You know no fish are stupid enough to get caught, right?"

"Says you... but Holo the Wise Wolf is a proud hunter I will not go home without a catch!" he stated proudly hands on her hips as she laughing before gently moving to poke his chest "just watch I-" blinking as she looked at him still a bit dripping wet a small blush coming to her cheeks.

Lyle rolled his eyes to the sky, closing them as the sun blurred his vision. He kept them close, feeling a finger upon his chest. He noticed she had stopped mid-sentence, so decided to look down. He smiled a bit, noticing her cheeks were a bit pink. "Whats the matter? You've felt it before." He assured her, his hand slipping up to cover her hand, pressing it against his chest farther.
