Holo went from pink to red slowly as he noticed and commented fully flushed when he hand her hand pressed to his chest. Looking down at the water "..... it is no wonder what others think of us with you like this.... and its not my fault" finally looking up at him to stick her tongue out at him before smirking "I am going to need my other hand to fish unless you insist on holding it all day your majesty"

Lyle looked around when she mentioned what others thought. "And that's a problem, because?-" He shrugged a bit and released her hand. "It's not like your the only rumor out there." He reminded her, sinking into the water a bit. "I think I see something." He commented in a whisper, grounded his feet on a rock at the bottom of the more shallow part, ready to launch himself at the movement in the water.

Holo rolled her eyes and just intended to spent the rest of their day together havin some fun for once. Following Lyle's I movement grinning when she turned to her a splash diving opposite of Lyle "I got it!" belly flopping into the water though because she tried to pounce on it like a wolf which ended badly as she was now soaked. Gasping as she lifted herself up from the water and laughed.

Lyle rose from the water and put a hand on his hip, unimpressed by her brash behavior. He rolled his eyes and laughed a bit when she came out of the water. "You're not a whale, you need to start fishing like a human or tiger, something that fishes." He shrugged, wading out to her and bending down into the water.

Holo was giggling till a bit of water got into her nose and she sneezed "aaa- chu~" like a little dog "ugh..... im out of pratice" looking back at him with a smile before looking into the water "oh!" seeing something she gently reached in and pulled up a pretty looking smooth black stone that shined "hehe my efforts weren't in vain" Strange strange lass she was.... give her all the gold in the world and she wouldn't think them much. but give her one pretty natural stone and she looked at it like it was a diamond. Facing him again with a bigger smile.

Lyle remained submerged until he noticed Holo pulling something from the water. Surely she didn't- He stopped in his thoughts and rolled his eyes. "You know we can't eat that, right?" He reminded her, then smiled a bit, she was rather cute when she valued strange objects. He remained still for a moment, his eyes blinking and staring into the water before him. He slowly moved his toes back and forth, wiggling them a bit in front of whatever he was looking at. After a moment, he slipped his legs back and dove into the water, trying to catch the fish he had been taunting. He came back up with nothing, simply a sigh. "This isn't going anywhere, why don't we just do it the human way?"

Holo rolled her eyes at him "Well of course we cannot eat rock~ duh~" Smirking at his antics herself before she simply got up wading over to him "That is because you are doing it wrong... you always think of things as the 'human' way. You forget animals have been doing this longer then you have" giggling at that before she moved up stream to a little ledge and waited patiently crouched down like a wolf before the fish sprung to jump the gap and Holo dove in sinking her teeth into it grinning happily now like the cat that caught the canary... or in this case the wolf that caught the fish.

Lyle wasn't sure he could stand the fish in her mouth, but maybe being more animal was what he needed. He wasn't exactly human when it came to his odd nature, so he guessed pretending like one wasn't so different from pretending like an animal. "Here- I'll take it to show." He assured her with a grin, walking over and turning his head sideways to bite into the fish.

Holo blinked then realized she had a fish in her mouth she knew how Lyle wished sometimes she acted normal... but.... dress her up in frilly clothes and she still felt wild inside. Surprised that he approached her, her face turning red as he bit into the same fish as her. It was confusing, to humans this action was strange but harmless. But to her... only family or mates shared hunted food. Watching him bite into it she let go to let him have it to withdraw with her red face feeling overwhelmed for a moment.

Lyle watched as she let go, then bent his head down to drop the fish in his hand. He narrowed his eyes in questioning, almost asking her what they were doing. He came forward a bit more, "I never did show you how to kiss..." He reminded her, carrying the fish at his side, but sliding his free hand onto her cheek. He wasn't sure if he really thought of Holo as more than a friend, but he felt like pushing the boundaries. He felt like knowing if love was an option for him. He felt like knowing if his heart could actually feel anything, or was it just as stone as he imagined it to be.

She stayed turned away from him perhaps nervous or it was the fact that her head was swimming trying to organize her confusion. That is until he touched her, and she mustered courage to look upon im with those soft eyes of her's. Her cheeks crimson and eyes widening at the mention of kissing not in horror but in surprise then welling confused emotions "N-n-no... even... though... they think.... we...." unable to finish her words as her heart pounded faster in her chest. What was she doing? what were they doing there was a million taboo's she could think of that they were violating but yet... she wasnt scared of such things.... she wondered if her mother had felt the same way a long time ago.

Lyle smiled now, he turned his head a bit to look into her eyes. His pupils focused on her soft expression, she looked a bit afraid to him, but that was alright, he was too when he first kissed someone. He looked down at her lips, then closed his eyes, leaning forward. He stopped before their lips met, then opened his eyes, studying her expression to see how she felt about his lips.

She wasnt quite sure what to do suddenly feeling like she had swallowed a barrel of butterflies now trapped in her stomach. She was nervous, Lyle had been her first friend in this entire world with his brother being her second... She remembered laughing and playing with them, getting Lyle into trouble. All before the great fire, all before he became King, all before Gambit left.... but now here he was playing with her again just like old times soft and sweet. She treasured this side of him... so she followed his actions like she had before. She closed her eyes and leaned forward unafraid because she trusted him, she cared for him.

Lyle watched her eyes close, then he smiled a bit. He thought about backing up now, she was like a kid sister, wasn't she? One of the only friends he had. But he couldn't disappoint her now, he couldn't go back on his word. He closed his eyes and his lips were brought to hers, tasting as much of her lips as his lips attained. After their first kiss, he pulled back and just hugged her.

She tasted a bit like fish but under that.... sweet rosemary a spice like her grown in the wilds of the land and soft lips like the little flower buds that grew from the plant. Sweet, soft and pure. After the kiss was finished her skin felt hot and she was blushing madly before suddenly finding herself hugged but still she managed to whisper softly "I-I enjoyed that"
